I dig my toes into the sand.

I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless and in this moment I am happy.

Things never turn out the way you start them.  This picture for example became the exact opposite of what I originally was looking for.  I had something more city and cable cars and sunshine in mind.  Some days SL searching scares me though and I will not share with you what some of my search results for very innocent seeming things yielded.  When in doubt I seem to always find my way back to Gilmour and I am never disappointed with what photo magic ends up happening there.

I am wearing things from well, everything going on right now.  Boom has these amazing friendship bracelets at the Arcade for 25L a play.  It may seem like I have quite a few but I think I need more.  Right now at Collabor88 you can get these amazing ruffled shirts from Auxiliary as well as this jewelry from Maxi Gossamar that tossed me right back in to the 90s.  This Exile hair is available now at Fameshed.  There is lots of good stuff all over the place right  now, so happy shopping.

If you haven't noticed, my inspiration and desire for taking pictures has all but left me. My pics are starting to all look the same! Someone kick my butt into gear! I know, The Arcade has been blogged a billion times, by now. But I have to get my fix, ok? Everything is working so well together. Even the crazy off the wall, stuff...I'm loving it! This unicorn horn is just darling. The Tee*fy dress, perfection. The Glam Affair skin...beautiful! I couldn't have planned it better, myself. I hope everyone has had the chance to get into Arcade and spend crazy amounts of lindens on stuff you absolutely need to have!

Captain's blog... SL date 6/2/2013.  The strange phenomena of The Arcade has gripped the citizens on the grid into a frenzy.  Like a magnetic force they are all drawn to this one location where they will spend hours searching through the machines for various collectibles some not leaving until every single one is in their possession.

I am showing off a very small sampling of the items I have acquired so far.  Arcade is probably my favorite event .  You have the whole month of course but some of us die hards have to have it all on the first day of course.  I think hands down my favorite rare score of the event is this chair from Hopscotch.  I squeed with delight when I saw it appear in my inventory.  Skylar is still glaring at it but I think it will grow on her eventually.  I think it is beautiful!  Some of my other conquests include this amazing hair by Wasabi Pills (I had to have them all!)  Of course Intrigue did not let us down with their plushy collection.  Dinosaurs are the theme this round.  Zigana made these amazing little robots, isn't he cute!  And I completed it all with Glam Affair who has a stunning skin this round and the Dead Apple Eyes.  Good luck shoppers and happy trading!  Your ride to the Arcade:  HERE (good luck!)

Oh hey!

You know The Arcade Gatcha starts in just SEVEN short days, right? I've been keeping my eye on flickr and Plurk to see what goodies I am going to need to get my hands on. The most exciting, by far, are these awesometastic squirt guns from MishMish! When Aime dropped them on me yesterday, I swear I squealed, chair danced and hyperventilated all at once! They are so fantastic!! There are 12 to collect, all in fabulous colors....and three of them are rare, a shark, a dolphin and an orca! The orca is, by far, my favorite! They come with a hud to turn the water on and off...perfect for a surprise shot! This is going to be a great summer!

There are so many Arcade items to love right now, so many.  But if I had to pick the first gacha that begged me to play it, it was this skirt one from Sea Hole.  I made a beeline for this and I am so excited I picked up the rose one.  Cross one item off my must have list.  Also an amazing bit about the truth hair is the headbands are a separate piece, so while you may be trying for a specific color you want, its worth hanging on to the others for different headband options.  I must confess, I am a bit of a Glam Affair junkie so I hit that gacha pretty hard as well and it paid off.  I am sure I will have to try for a few more though.  

It is a weekend of linden spending gone wild!  Fameshed also opened its doors for a new round.  I want to point out I am wearing a new piece from Cae here on my neck and its amazing.  The gemstones and metal are color change and to me the price was well worth buying the full set for.
