There's No Place Like Home - Summer Cottage

The Fist Pump Hunt brought to you by Atooly Hunts kicks off July 1st and runs through the 26th.   The theme this year is 'Something You Love The Most'. What that means is that store owners were asked to pick an item they adore and use it as their hunt gift. For There's No Place Like Home it was this old fashioned style English Summer House is inspired by a real one.  I took the liberty of filling it with a few of my favorite things as well just to finish it off.  It is partial mesh and weighs in at 45 LI and is modifiable.  :)  It is my understanding 42 stores are set to participate so here is your kick off point:  Starting Point

Fridays are just awesome days on their own. In SL, Fridays bring us Fifty Linden goodness. It's an added bonus when Friday is the 8th day of the month and we get Collabor88, too. I seriously had no problem getting out of bed this morning simply because I knew there'd be goodies galore waiting for me! Yes, I bought all the things...all of them. I love my sister, Qopi, with all my heart! (We're polar opposites and I never let her forget it) This was my proposal to her, yesterday, to be my Valentine. She refused, though, because I made fun of her lack of boobs.

This week Shiloh has given us our motivation with the simple words "Better Than Chocolate."  I am excited to see what people are doing this week after the round of Cotton Candy was so adorable.  I changed my mind several times on this and finally quite happily settled with that midnight calling of an amazing chocolate cake.  And what is better than having that in some really cute lingerie?

Where It's At

Sometimes we all just need to kick back a little, listen to some music and love life.  Our Second Life roller coaster rides can be sometimes just as crazy as our real life ones.  We have ups and downs, bumps in the road and lord to we have drama on Second Life.  If you claim to be drama free then you either need to play a lottery ticket or quit lying.  (I tease I tease... maybe.)  Either way its good to get back to your roots once in a while and enjoy yourself and remember why you are here and who keeps you coming back.  My rock is my sister.  Life made us friends, love made us sisters.  And she was indeed kind enough to endure my whimsical retro backdrop while I made all kinds of horrid faces at her from behind this record. 

 

Make sure you stop by the Men's Department to scoop up this headset from some of our favorite people, the guys at 22769.  They also have a neck version as well and some really cool styles.  You do not have to be a guy to wear them!  This awesome pose is from Exposeur, I had been waiting for a chance to use it and as soon as I slipped those headphones on it all fell together.

The World I Know

This weekend has been so full of goodies, I can barely stand it! Friday started out fantastic with the What Next wood burning stove and the adorable Lisp chairs that match the sofa's out at the current round of Collabor88. (I absolutely love, love, love, this set!) The, yesterday, I stumbled on this super cozy sweater and skirt combo from U.F.O. at SBG. I couldn't wait to get home and get cozy and dream of cold winter nights, snuggled on the couch in front of the fire. ♥
