Well it seems the 8th of the month is always a devastating time for my bank account but a very happy time for me. Collabor88 was fantastic in my personal opinion and I tackled the event with as much gusto as a girl has at 7am with a cup of coffee.There is so much to highlight and this is a small sampling of what is available.
Ison has released both the pants and the shoes I am wearing here. Both are available in a range of colors and worth the demo. I am a pretty basic pants girl so I stuck with the classic denim look here but I splurged on the seafoam shoes. You know I do not fatpack as often as I probably would love to, but hey, we all have to have a budget. That said, Auxiliary .. god what you do to me. If you pop over to my flickr you can probably see the ring better I am wearing, the melting hearts are just amazing and I was not about to buy a single color. Nor was I with these shirts because they are amazing. They also come in a cropped version which is just the ruffles. The D!va hair was of course worth a demo, I do love the ginger tone that gets a special release for the event. And of course I bought out every Maxi Gossamer item there. It is hard to see my necklace here perhaps but trust me when I say to go and check it out in person. The details are outstanding.

I'm not very big into the fairy tale/fantasy aspects of SL, but when I saw the Dyisi Satry Outfit from Evie's Closet at this round of Zodiac, I just had to have it. I have to admit, as well, I knew Autumn would be buying it...and that it would turn into a collaborative post for the two of us. We're just so damn cute, I think I'll let the pic speak for itself....muah ♥
I was really excited to meet Naraelina for the first time when we got together for the Burst out of your Bubble Challenge. You can read more about it here. I decided to let Skylar pick a match for me since I did not even know where to start and it made it really exciting letting the control fall out of my hands.
Naraelina is really a very sweet and fun 8 year old in Second Life. You are see her blog here and it is soooo cute! I fell in love with her immediately, I cannot resist a little ginger kid with as much personality as she has. She is never without her trademark glasses which are no longer available so they are indeed extra special to her. She loves ballet and has always enrolled in various schools here so I was pretty excited to do these type of picture with her. (The theme was her idea!) After a few mishaps on the platform we built a studio together. We only had one wall and one mis-texturing crisis to get over which made for a few laughs. We both sat down to edit immediately, it seems its a trait we share when it comes to pictures. I hate letting them sit and wait even though I have to sometimes. Turns out we both love Labyrinth too so the song choice came in handy!
Week 9 of 50 Shades of Sexy is upon us and the theme is Pillow Talk. If you have not yet checked out the challenge it is not too late to join in the fun. We had a lot of fun setting this up and while I wish I could take credit for some of the more amusing touches (like that ruler), I cannot. This fun little lingerie set comes from 1 Hundred. The name of the store means exactly that, everything in there is 100L or under. I think I bought at least three of these when they came out because they were so cute. You should check them out! I used another earlier this week on the blog.
The biggest thing we kept joking about while taking this picture was what are we reading. So far our answers have been everything from Dr. Seuss to other things not very Dr. Seuss at all. You can pick up this adorable pose along with the books over at Exposeur. Check it out!

Oh I am so far behind on my blogging this week and I just can't seem to focus! Here is this weeks 50 Shades of Sexy post! The fabulous Shiloh Selene decided upon some "Pillow Talk" this week. It almost seems too sweet and innocent for what her challenge has brought us recently, but I am not complaining. Any excuse I can get to snuggle up with Mr. Fenix is fine by me!

It is always a beautiful day when Collabor88 opens, at least in my eyes. This month was a one stop shopping experience of amazing. Why in fact everything but my beloved Gos shoes and staples such as eyes and hands are from there in this picture.
I do not even know where to begin, it was hard to sort out what I even wanted to wear first. I will tell you though at the expense of my lindens I now own this dress from Hucci in three colors and fat packed the hats from Glam Affair. Also this skin from Glam Affair is positively amazing and I strongly suggest you demo it. Maxi Gossamer put out some amazing jewelry and this is a sampling from her Khaleesi's Temptation set there. They are all metal and color change so you get a lot of options with it as always! The Diva hair is too fun! It also comes with flower options as well but I kept it simple since my amazing hat says it all!

I was asked the other night who my favorite designer was. I can honestly say, I don't have one specific favorite, or even a few. But, If I were to make a list somewhere near the top would have to be The Secret Store. Maylee Oh comes up with some of the cutest clothes and she made my favorite go-to shoes, the Loveable Pumps. This round of FaMESHed the Bowlicious Dress is probably my favorite item. I love the vintage feel and the cute, yet classy look. For those of you who don't know, Somersley Estates is a family RP community in SL. This past week, My daughter Harper and I were lucky enough to rent and move into 800 Navarita Lane on Pleasant Valley. Gabrielle Somersley and her team were extremely helpful and more than willing to help us get situated in our new home. I haven't had the opportunity to meet many neighbors yet, but the few that I have are wonderful. There is so much to do in the community, its amazing! There's an elementary and preschool for your children, a hospital for any medical need you could possibly think of, a police and fire department who patrol the streets on a regular basis, weekly garbage pick up, a newspaper, a movie theater, a bank, an actual court house and SO much more! Well, imagine our surprise when we heard our first weather report and a severe storm was predicted to roll through Somersley! The storm started Friday with heavy rain and lightening strikes (in our own driveway!). People were reporting tornado sightings and power outages all night long. What we saw on Friday was nothing compared to what came through on Saturday! There were huge tornado's and flooding and several houses were destroyed, one of them being ours!
Thankfully, we got out in time and no one was hurt. The police and firemen showed up right away and made sure everyone was safe and escorted us to the shelter where a nurse looked us over to be sure we weren't injured. They gave us food and took good care of us until we were allowed to go back to what was left of our homes.
Now that things are back to normal, I have to say I am really impressed with the Somersley community. If you're into family RP or looking for a home with the community feel, definitely check it out!
It's super late for me and I'm exhausted, but I wanted to share this before I passed out. How amazing is this dress? 22769 has this available for this round of Fair. You should check it out!
