Most of you know Skylar and I take the bulk of our pictures on a platform.  We actually build a lot of our scenes.  I honestly thought this was normal but it appears it is not necessarily the case.  Qopi was visiting with us and commented on the fact she did not think people sometimes realized the work that went in to building a scene for a blog.  I never looked at this as work.  I looked at it as fun.  To me it is an artistic expression.  And so the two of them sat down on a couch up there winging out furniture and ideas, picking accessories and wallpaper with me until this picture fell into place.  It was honestly not what I intended, I had a very different scene in mind but sometimes the building of a picture takes on a life of its own.  I know it is dark for some, but I personally like this piece a lot.  I especially had fun adding the touch of the bloody handprint.  I guess I am a bit twisted.

Sixx Yangtz over at HISpose just released this new set called HISabs.  The set has 5 poses along with a few props including this cute phone and a non rigged mesh muscle shirt which while adjustable is better fitted to the male form (in this bloggers opinion). 

 

 

 

I highly suggest checking it out.  It is a pretty versatile set and as Sixx suggested great for showing off new skins as well.  I have to agree!

To be honest, nobody came by while I was taking this pic...but it's nice to dream! I'm simply in love with this dress from Glam Affair at Collabor88. I will probably end up with it in all colors, but the Grape just screamed my name! It was the perfect excuse to bust out my leg warmers from G*Field! I've felt all warm and cozy all day!

I also want to take this time to tell you about something I became aware of today. Sway Dench, creator of Sway's, has recently received some heartbreaking news, medicaly wise. Of course the buzz is the new items from Maitreya.  I wait so impatiently for the new releases but when they arrive I am never disapointed.  My favorite from this round is the Milia Sweater Dress.  It is just LOVE!  So much love.  I needed more than one but this pink one stole my heart.  It was nice to be able to eek out a quick shopping trip and a few pictures on a very rainy and scary day.  

 

 

 

 

I have to give some love to Izzie by the way.  I pimp her nails out pretty hard when people ask for suggestions and I just generally love her store.  Recently I purchased my first skin from her and I cannot get over how much I love it.  I also love how many little extras she includes with that skin from the make up to freckles and even the already matched nail cover ups.  Thank you Izzie! <3
