Just Stop! (My SL Pet Peeves Meme)

Berry has a new meme this week! Your SL Pet Peeves! You can see hers, here! I'm going to give my list a go...it probably won't be pretty, so I apologize in advance.

#1 - For the love of god, people! Stop iming me the second I log on!  You know its annoying, right? Everyone has to think so, no?! But besides that, I have a routine I need to follow in order to satisfy my OCD. IM's are last on that list. So, if you IM me before I read notecards, clear notices or do a number of other things... I will close your IM. And then I will forget about it...and you will think I am ignoring you. Which, bitch, you didn't give me a chance to take a breath first...you deserve to be ignored!

#2 - Personal grudges. There's so much to say about this subject, but I'll try to keep it simple. We've had an issue in the past? I truly apologize, but it's time to get over it. Move on. Bringing it up repeatedly, weeks, months and even years later just makes you look immature and insecure. I'm over it, I promise. You should be too.

#3 - Hanging out at landing points. This is especially annoying on Fifty Linden Fridays and opening days of monthly events. Hundreds of people are tping around the grid, then. Why do 17 of you need to stand right where everyone else is trying to get to? Take three steps out of the way while you rez, its not going to kill you! And if you don't plan on moving one square inch from where you landed when you tp'd in and I happen to bump into you when I move away from the landing point....do not complain that I bumped into you. You'll regret it. I promise.

#4 - What is the point of keeping your mic open while you're shopping.....alone. For real! I don't want to hear your music...or your typing...or your breathing...and for gods sake I do not want to hear your kids screaming in the background!  Keep your mic off if you aren't engaged in a conversation, especially in public! (Private voice conversations in public area's are a totally different subject. But I won't start!)

#5 - IM's work both ways. I am the FIRST to admit that I suck at IMing people...I really do! But...don't whine about never talking to me if you never bother to message me, either! In fact, the more you IM me, the better the chance that I will actually respond and I may even message you more in the future!

I really tried to tone down the bitchiness here...but Adaline reminded me that I am a bitch. So here you have it. My list could actually go on for pages and pages, but these are my top 5....I think. Sorry if I offended anyone. I really do love you all!!

P.S. - Mass TP's. Seriously. Just don't. I will delete you without a second thought. For real.

Busting Out Of My Bubble!

I finally did it! You may or may not know, I started a challenge back in January. It's called The Bust Out Of Your Bubble Challenge...and it's taken me forever to get my junk together and get it done!

Like a lot of people, I chose to have myself matched up with someone, randomly. I got super lucky and was matched with Roxi Bluewood from Cosmopolitan! I was way excited because she is adorable and our styles are rather similar! We talked back and forth a few times a week, trying to get our schedules together...and finally this week we worked it out! Roxi is adorable so it made taking our pics easy! It should be no surprise that when DCNY released these dresses at My Attic  the Constellations team  jumped all over the chance to dress up like the spice girls.  We made a bee line for these babies and remarkably there was no argument, we all picked our Spice Girl for the day with no overlaps.  Let me just say my favorite thing about them (besides that amazing price of 95L!) is the fact they are in two parts so you can really work with a variety of body shapes.  Fear not, if you are not in the mood to be a spice girl there are other styles as well to suit everyone's taste.  We snatched up the Adorkable Pop Star poses and were good to go!

Sometimes we all just need to kick back a little, listen to some music and love life.  Our Second Life roller coaster rides can be sometimes just as crazy as our real life ones.  We have ups and downs, bumps in the road and lord to we have drama on Second Life.  If you claim to be drama free then you either need to play a lottery ticket or quit lying.  (I tease I tease... maybe.)  Either way its good to get back to your roots once in a while and enjoy yourself and remember why you are here and who keeps you coming back.  My rock is my sister.  Life made us friends, love made us sisters.  And she was indeed kind enough to endure my whimsical retro backdrop while I made all kinds of horrid faces at her from behind this record.

Comfortable

This is a day late, but technically, I took the picture yesterday! So it still counts! SL Blogger Support's "Inspire Me" topic for Tuesday was "A few of my favorite things". When I woke up it just seemed like a comfy cozy kind of day, so I immediately went to some old stand by's in my inventory....you know, those things that if they were RL items they'd be worn out and well broken in. And of course, I had to take the picture in my favorite room of the house...my bedroom. I fell in love with the West Lake house from L2 Studio the second it was released. Being that I have a large family in sl, I had to mod this house a bit and my room ended up being so cozy and comfy! I'm ready to crawl into my bed and lounge the day away!

Smile Like You Mean It

SL Blogger Support is trying to inspire bloggers with their Inspire Me initiative. Every week they are posting a list of prompts to help inspire creative blog posts and maybe give bloggers the bump they may need to get inspired. It's a very cool idea. I've been looking at the list all week, but today's prompt, "Faking It: Put a Smile On That Face!", really brought the jumble of junk in my head together. Unfortunately, I couldn't even fake it today. I blame the weather.

I've been looking for a reason to wear these cute mesh leggings from Factorie Couture since I got them from Boho Fair over the summer. They're so cozy and perfect for spending the day in bed.

Bitches Be Crazy

This morning my Sister, Adaline, IM'd me and asked me for my favorite saying. If you know me at all, you know that..."Bitches Be Crazy!" A few hours later, she dropped this on me and I honestly squealed!
